Dr. Sabreena Chohan, Ph.D., C. Psych, Director

Dr. Chohan is a clinical and health psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and adults. She received her doctoral degree (PhD) in 2011 from Lakehead University.

She has over 10 years of experience in various clinical settings including private practice. She has held positions at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton (Anxiety Treatment and Research Centre), the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (Eating Disorders and Addictions Program), Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (Adult Mental Health Services), and McMaster Children's Hospital (Child and Youth Mental Health Program-Outpatient Service). She is a registered member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Dr. Chohan previously worked as a Staff Psychologist in the Bariatric Surgery program at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. Dr. Chohan is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University.

Dr. Chohan’s clinical interests include the assessment and treatment of learning and developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety and mood disorders, along with self-esteem issues, interpersonal difficulties, and infertility. Additional interests include disordered eating, body image issues, and obesity.

Dr. Chohan's research interests include disordered eating behaviour, body image concerns and other psychological outcomes (i.e., mood, anxiety) post bariatric surgery. In addition, she is interested in variables associated with weight regain among surgical patients. Implications of social media on binge eating behaviour and body image are also a continued area of interest.

Dr. Tiffany Hunt, Ph.D., C. Psych

Dr. Tiffany Hunt is a registered, clinical and health psychologist. She obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Ottawa,  Ontario.

Over the past 15 years, Dr. Hunt has worked and trained in hospitals, community mental health clinics, pain clinics, educational institutions, and private practices. She provides psychological assessment and treatment to adults, adolescents, children, and families. Dr. Hunt is a published author with research publications in peer-reviewed, scholarly journals. She has taught university undergraduate-level courses and completed various guest lecturer appearances for psychology undergraduates and medical residents. She is affiliated with Western University Faculty of Education as an Adjunct Clinical  Professor.

Dr. Hunt is an integrative practitioner. She supports a holistic and “mind/body/spirit” approach to wellness. Dr. Hunt uses multiple modalities (e.g., Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, trauma and attachment informed theory) to tailor treatment to individual’s needs and to guide them through both their healing and life journey. She is also certified in sound therapy and conscious connected  breathwork.

Common focal points in treatment include Mood and/or Anxiety Disorders, Adjustment concerns, Grief, Relationship Stress, Attachment Injuries, Post Traumatic Stress Responses, Operational Stress Injuries, and Workplace Wellness. Dr. Hunt has worked with clients of diverse experiences and psychological needs. She has been a trusted guide to many Veterans, police officers, firefighters, and other first responders. More broadly, Dr. Hunt works with individuals and groups to enhance skills pertinent to stress management, coping, and quality of  life.

Andrea Millard, MSW, RSW

Andrea Millard is a Registered Social Worker who works with youth, adults, and families. She received her Master of Social Work from Windsor University in 2013. Andrea has over 20 years of experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds with a focus on anti-oppressive practice. She has worked in various settings including children and family services, hospital setting and private practice. She is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers. Andrea’s areas of clinical interest include mental health (e.g. depression and anxiety), interpersonal relationship challenges, trauma history, substance use, body image, disordered eating, obesity including weight stigma and weight bias, as well as self-esteem.

Tara McCarthy, BA, Office Administrator

Tara McCarthy is our Office Administrator. She has over 12 years of office related experience in various industries. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from McMaster University with a Major in French and Minor in Sociology. As she has a passion for helping others, Tara is dedicated to providing a warm, welcoming and friendly experience for all clients.
